Your new role
As property manager, you will oversee accounts payable, tenant billing, building-related operating expenses, supplier billing, and recurring payments. Conduct daily building operations, manage critical equipment and infrastructure, and ensure maintenance and repairs are performed. Take responsibility for building operations and deliver exceptional customer service. Prepare and administer operating budgets, monthly analysis reports, and service contracts. Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of systems, equipment, and buildings. Foster strong tenant/manager relationships to facilitate smooth operations and serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries. Manage incidents, compliance with company and industry protocols and standards, safety, and building operations technicians. Provide consulting services on projects, investment planning, and budget development related to building operations. Maintain or upgrade systems according to industry best practices and manufacturer recommendations to prevent or swiftly resolve system failures, thereby avoiding interruptions and service losses. Execute any other related tasks as required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring a minimum of five years of experience in commercial real estate, with proven expertise in budget execution and capital project management. You will have strong knowledge of vendor and contract management, along with exceptional customer service skills. Your ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, coupled with demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, will be crucial. You will maintain a commitment to excellence in customer service and be a skilled communicator with active listening abilities.
