About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Proposal Manager to join our dynamic team in Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the preparation of high-quality, client-focused proposals for clinical trials across various therapeutic areas. Your expertise will contribute to the growth and success of our organization by securing new business opportunities and fostering strong client relationships.

Your Responsibilities

  • Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and development of comprehensive proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and finance teams, to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
  • Budgeting and Costing: Develop detailed project budgets, including cost estimates for resources, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings and presentations to understand project needs, address queries, and build strong relationships.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all proposals are compliant with regulatory requirements, company standards, and client specifications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and enhancement of proposal templates, processes, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in proposal development within a CRO or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Japanese regulatory requirements and clinical trial processes.
