How you will make an impact:

• You will provide counselling to individuals referred by our medical team, based on clients’ needs (private clients);
• You will provide short-term counselling (3 to 6 sessions) to the EAP clients;
• You will provide service in person and virtually, from the clinic;
• You will manage the administrative requirements of cases using simple clinical templates, making note-taking easy.

What you bring:

• You hold a master's or doctoral degree in mental health or a related field;
• You are a member in good standing of the OPQ (Psychologist or Psychotherapist) or the OTSTCFQ (Social Worker);
• You are proficient in French;
• You have a minimum of three years of clinical experience;
• You have the ability to set short-term objectives and use a solution-focused approach;
• You have experience with addictions counselling;
• You are comfortable with a wide variety of presenting issues;
• You are empathetic and are able to clinically manage high-risk cases;
• You have excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle a large volume of clients;
• You have a good knowledge of community resources.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with mandated clients.
