Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Python & SAS Developer with a strong background in Python development and experience in SAS programming for SAS to Python migration project initiatives . The ideal candidate will work on data processing, analytics, and automation solutions, leveraging Python as the primary language while also integrating SAS-based solutions for data manipulation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Python-based modules and applications.
• Work with SAS/Python for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Migration of SAS-based systems to Python
• Build automated workflows to streamline data pipelines.
• Integrate SAS and Python using SASPy or SWAT for seamless data analysis.
• Work with SQL databases to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
• Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements.
• Implement and maintain API-based integrations (RESTful APIs).
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) .
• Troubleshoot and debug Python & SAS scripts for optimal performance.
• API frameworks for integrating SAS with Python
• Machine Learning/AI-driven analytics (if applicable)

Required Qualifications:

• 3-7+ years of hands-on experience with Python development (Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, etc.).
• Proficiency in SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS Macro, SAS SQL).
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines .
• Experience in Data Migration intiative.
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) .
• Knowledge of API development and integration (FastAPI, Flask, Django, etc.) .
• Experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Power BI/Tableau is a plus).
• Ability to optimize Python and SAS scripts for performance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
