Our client is a famous Group in Tokyo that developing multiple businesses with the mission of ``Changing the world with economic information.'' Economic information platform, social economic media (BtoC) that expands and deepens learning, (BtoC) that conveys global information for "next generation business leaders", B2B marketing platform (BtoB), (BtoB/BtoC) that conveys the reality of startups, and venture capital business.

In this position, you will be responsible for the translation and localization of a service original content, such as industry analysis reports, from Japanese to English. They also play an important role in translating materials across a wide range of the Company Group business areas and providing feedback to the team and original authors during the translation process.

We view translation work as localization, which is not just a matter of converting words, but also creating content that creates added value that appropriately reflects the intent by adding editing.

In this position, you will be responsible for translating and localizing original content, such as our characteristic industry analysis reports, from Japanese to English.

You will also be responsible for translating materials across a wide range of business areas within the Uzabase Group, and for providing feedback to the team and original authors during the translation process.

We see translation work as more than just a conversion of words; we see it as content production (localization) that creates added value by properly reflecting the intention through editing.

■ Translation, editing, feedback

・Responsible for translating original content from Speeda Economic Information Research, such as analysis reports for approximately 560 industries, into English.

・Responsible for translating and editing materials for internal use (event materials, internal manuals, etc.) and materials for external use (DEIB reports, sales materials, etc.) into English.

· Provide team members with feedback that contributes to improving the quality of translations, while also collaborating with the analysts who wrote the original text to improve the quality of the content.

■ Promoting improvement efforts

· Participate in and promote projects that transform translated English content into compelling English content rather than simply translating it.

· In addition to translation work, you will also be responsible for promoting improvements to the team's work processes.

Requirements

Mandatory requirements

- Those with 5 or more years of work experience

- Those with practical experience in Japanese to English business translation (not limited to professional translators, but those with work experience in which they have had to translate various documents for internal and external use, such as contracts, manuals, websites, and IR materials, into English)

- Those with knowledge and strong curiosity about business, finance, and economics

- Those with experience in improving business processes using Excel, VBA, etc.

- Those who are comfortable using new technologies and tools such as machine translation
