Job Description

The purpose of this role is to improve the market position of divisions, regions, and the overall group. Lead Territory Managers and Distributors to grow sales and profit with current and new customers. Motivate and guide the team to achieve sales goals.

Description

* Create and carry out strategies to grow the businesses.
* Develop marketing and sales programs for distributors and OEM customers.
* Stay in regular contact with global product and business teams.
* Build annual marketing plans to drive sales growth.
* Make sure sales targets are met by guiding, training, and motivating the sales team.
* Visit key customers and distributors, and support team members in building strong relationships.
* Ensure products and services meet customer expectations and handle issues quickly and effectively.
* Identify new opportunities to increase revenue and profit.
* Monitor competitors and develop strategies to stay ahead. Share regular updates on market trends and competitor activity.
* Keep managers and sales teams informed of any changes that could impact product distribution.
* Help plan strategies across teams to deliver the right products and services, and support other divisions and groups.

Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering (MBA is a plus)
* Previous of experience in sales, marketing, or product management, with strong knowledge of products, competitors, and markets for Industrial Equipment, Process Automation, Automotive
* Strong communication, presentation, and people skills in both Japanese and English
* Practical, hands-on approach to work
* Good understanding of OEMs and distribution channels
* Proven track record of exceeding goals and delivering results
