Job Title: Facility and Maintenance Manager
Location: Cartier Japan Office, Hanzomon
Main Purpose
The Facility and Maintenance Manager leads the strategic development of Cartier boutiques in Japan. This role delivers operational excellence by aligning business objectives with project execution, applying deep technical knowledge, and facilitating effective collaboration across functions. The manager is responsible for development and standardization of the maintenance infrastructure for all boutiques across Japan, and lifecycle facility planning and long-term budget strategies, especially for freestanding properties, ensuring their enduring functionality and alignment with brand standards.

Deliver high-quality project results within time and budget constraints. Maintain operational excellence through lifecycle facility management and continuous technical innovation.

Exercise autonomous judgment within area of responsibility. Recommend strategic and technical solutions to project managers. Apply advanced functional knowledge to elevate project quality and solve complex technical issues.
Risk Management
Anticipate and manage technical, operational, and compliance-related risks across store development and maintenance activities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and propose timely mitigations.
Organisational Development & Collaboration
Contribute to the continuous optimisation of team processes. Train and empower contractors and team members, enhancing project delivery and collaboration. Encourage a constructive, respectful, and high-performing work culture.
Succession Planning & Change Management
Establish a succession plan and work with leadership to develop talent. Embrace change and actively contribute to the adoption of new tools, systems, and ways of working in the technical domain.
Leadership Responsibilities
Mentor junior staff and offer deep technical guidance to peers. Independently resolve task- and technology-specific issues. Lead by example and support team success by sharing best practices and driving problem-solving initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships with tact and professionalism. Ensure contractors and vendors become aligned, capable partners who can consistently deliver to Maison’s high standards.
