Seasonal Ticket Agent (Bus) Bus Operations

TICKET AGENT (SEASONAL) - ATLANTIC CITY BUS TERMINAL (May 15th through September 10th including Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend)
Roles and Responsibilities: - Answer telephone calls and provide accurate information to customers concerning headways, routings, buses and other reasonable requests for information
- Conduct transactions with customers (sell tickets and make reservations)
- Prepare ticket sales and package express reports
- Complete supporting documentation (deposit slip and receipts) and complete reports as needed
- Announce departures
Knowledge and Skills Required: - MUST BE FULLY AVAILABLE to work up to 40 hours on weekdays and weekends starting Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend
- Customer service experience interacting with the public
- Previous experience in a cash-handling position
- General knowledge of NJ TRANSIT'S bus lines preferred
