Guardteck Security is seeking an experienced Security Site Manager to join our team!

About the Role:

The Site Manager position reports to the Account Manager designated by Guardteck Operations. This is an essential role in ensuring our sites are performing at a high level aligned with contractual requirements. This position requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to act quickly during various incidents that happen on-site.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all security operations on site.
  • Coaching and development of the site’s Security Leadership Team
  • Ensure the site-specific operation procedures are up to date.
  • Ensure the work is up to the company standard.
  • Audit the security work and interactions with the customer on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop and implement robust security strategies and policies to protect the company’s assets, employees, and facilities
  • Proactively mentor and train employees and provide regular feedback.
  • Run employee rewards and appreciation program.
  • Manage scheduling.
  • Operate applicable software and on-site equipment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Communicate with the head office.
  • Exercise good judgment and make decisions that benefit the customer and the property.
  • Become part of the team and make yourself a key part of the customer’s success.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Education :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity within the security industry.
  • Valid BC Security License (AST)
  • Proven leadership and people management track record
  • 2+ years dealing with critical incidents and executing security plans
  • Experience with integrated security systems (CCTV, Access, Intrusion)
  • Non-violence intervention training
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Minimum OFA 2 Certification
  • Post-secondary degree or combination of relevant training/experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
