Are you passionate about the security industry and have a knack for solving complex problems? Prism System Security is looking for a dedicated Security Systems Technician to join our team!

Job Summary:

Your primary role will involve conducting preventative maintenance visits for access control, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems in commercial environments, adhering to company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on small and large security systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system faults with precision and efficiency.
• Support installation teams on complex projects as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
• Adhere to CANASA and industry standards in all tasks.
• Represent Prism’s values and vision in every interaction.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in the electronic security systems industry.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, door entry, and intruder alarm systems, including IP configuration and system networking.
• Certification: Ability to obtain a Federal Level II Security Clearance.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and familiarity with top-tier security solutions such as Gallagher, Control4, AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, ICT, RS2, Salient, Hikvision, and Alarm.com.
• License: Full clean driving license (essential).
• Education: Electronic Installation Qualifications or equivalent (preferred).
