Job Description

A boutique architectural practice specializing in residential, hospitality and commercial projects is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the technical drawing phase, producing and coordinating high-quality construction documents in Revit, supporting contract administration and site review processes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and AHJ requirements, and develop technical solutions and responses as needed.
• Direct communication with clients, contractors, and consultants, and close collaboration with senior design architects and small, cohesive project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Detailing atypical conditions, for mid-rise steel, concrete, and wood construction projects.
• Independently executing construction documents and coordinating sub-consultants, while remaining hands-on with drawing production.
• Mentoring junior/ intermediate staff.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of architectural / interiors experience.
• Prior hospitality, interior design and commercial experience is considered an asset.
• Architectural Technology Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in Revit is required
• Team player, have excellent attention to detail and strong communications skills.
• Experience of executing on construction documents without supervision is required.
• Sound knowledge of local building codes and bylaws is a must.

The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package $80,000 - $100,000, extended benefits and a flexible working environment.
