About the Role:

This position resides within the IT Enterprise Applications team and reports to the Product Manager, HR Solutions. The successful candidate will primarily work closely with the HR team, the broader Enterprise Applications team, and vendors to deliver value-added business solutions. The role involves tactical and strategic initiatives, with the key focus being on the ongoing support and enhancement of the Workday HCM platform, ensuring it continues to meet business needs and deliver value.

Key Responsibilities:

System and Solution Analysis : Provide system and solution analysis, understand business requirements, and translate them into solution design and configuration specifications.

Implementation and Testing : Facilitate implementation plans, execute testing strategies, and ensure solutions adhere to best practices and IT architecture standards.

Documentation and Training : Create and document setup/configuration manuals and provide training as required.

Workday Expertise : Utilize your expertise in Workday to develop and implement best practice processes for HR management, including HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, and Learning.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Process Improvement : Act as a trusted liaison between IT and HR, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration. Partner with HR leads, vendors, and third-party consultants to resolve issues, provide innovative solutions, and present options for system enhancements. Drive innovative HR process improvements and enhance the end-user experience through proactive change efforts.

Additional Initiatives : Participate in other corporate or enterprise solution initiatives as needed, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Education : University degree (computer science, Information Technology or human resources preferred) or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role.

Experience : Minimum four years of experience in ERP support, maintenance, or implementation (Previous Workday experience highly desirable)

Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of ERP principles, SDLC, and data security management.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and operations
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mind; demonstrated critical thinking and analytic skills with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Creativity and innovation in designing solutions and process improvements.

Tools : Proficiency in MS productivity tools (e.g., Office, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Certifications : Workday Service Partner or Pro certifications (payroll and/or benefits preferable).

Previous experience with Microsoft 365 and Power platforms.
