Competitive salary: $90,000-$100,000

About you

You should bring:

• 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Law Clerk
• Practical knowledge of Ontario-incorporated businesses and the Canada Business Corporations Act
• Experience with ESOP plans, including grants and exercises
• Prior experience training junior clerks
• Proactive, team-oriented, with strong time management skills

About the role

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:

• Handling corporate activities like share issuances, transfers, and director/officer changes
• Managing files from end-to-end and picking up files at different stages in the process
• Maintaining minute books and assisting with pre/post-closing updates
• Establishing and maintaining ESOP plans, including grants and exercises
• Handling continuances, amalgamations, and various amendments
• Building and manipulating PDFs
