Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Lead the team to develop and ensure excellent implementation of own retail specific marketing plans, mainly Visual Merchandising, and activation and instore communication for commercial and membership moments for own retail doors. Supervise the Visual Merchandising playbook and guideline for specified Wholesale key partner doors and develop visual merchandizing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full year retail marketing calendar for all store fleets.
Implement retail specific marketing plans, mainly commercial and membership, per the brand design and consumer experience standards, in alignment with the Global strategy and the local Brand Activation team for own retail doors.
Share consumer and channel relevant input for country/cluster specific needs to the Global Brand Activation team.
Plan and manage retail marketing working budget to ensure a right investment decision.
Partner with the retail team to align investment concepts prior to order placement.
Partner with the membership team to plan and implement membership activities within the own retail landscape.
Lead the team to brief, develop and implement own-retail commercial activations, membership activations and new store opening activations.
Collaborate and lead the Visual Merchandising team to provide seasonal visual merchandising directives for all own retail store fleets based on the marketing calendar.
Supervise the team to craft a Visual Merchandising playbook / guideline for Wholesale team to refer and execute on
Lead the team to develop specific strategic wholesale visual merchandizing projects
Partner with the retail team to seek additional in-season business opportunity and direct the team to implement with agility.
Lead the team to brief an external agency to implement visual merchandising in key selected wholesale partners.
Act as a consultant of Visual Merchandising upon specific Brand Activation initiatives
Ensure all retail space management solutions are partnered with the best visual merchandising and consumer journey zoning.
Be the main point of contact for Global Retail activation lead.
Establish a high-performance culture and drive employee engagement, leading by example.

Retail Net Sales
Sell out of in-scope wholesale accounts and projects
Return on marketing investment
Retail specific KPI such as traffic, conversion, average selling price based on initiatives
Membership acquisition and engagement based on initiatives
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Progressive experience in Visual Merchandising / Marketing (preferably in Retail)
Leading and managing a diverse team
Proven track record of people management/development
Proven project management experience
Advanced user of MS Office
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience
6-8 years’ experience in relevant Marketing fields
Fluent in both Japanese and English
Passion for sports and fashion/art
Proven track record as leader
