Job Description

Site Superintendent Ontario – Pharma, Medical Labs, Bioengineering, Semiconductor, Battery (clean, cold, dry rooms)

The Site Superintendent is responsible for managing all on-site aspects of construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. The Superintendent serves as the key liaison between field crews, subcontractors, project managers, and clients.

What you can expect:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations and construction activities
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and material deliveries
  • Ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, and local building codes
  • Maintain and enforce site safety protocols in accordance with OHS standards
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules, track and report progress
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor quality control and workmanship
  • Address and resolve any field issues or delays that arise during construction
  • Maintain clear and accurate daily logs and documentation
  • Hold regular meetings with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available as needed
  • Coordinate inspections and work with city officials, engineers, and consultants

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction supervision or general contracting
  • Experience overseeing the build out of Medical Labs, Bioengineering, Pharma, Semiconductor, or Battery projects
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and safety regulations
  • Proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors effectively
  • OHS certification required
  • Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)

Work Environment:

  • On-site at construction projects (outdoor and indoor environments)
  • May include extended hours, nights, or weekends depending on project needs
  • This position is 100% travel.

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
  • Solid MEP experience is a plus
