Scale Hospitality brings award-winning restaurants (Antonio Park, Miss Likklemores, Toronto Beach Club, Maxime’s, Lapinou, and many more...), enduring hospitality concepts and memorable experiences to the Canadian and global dining scene.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to join our team and assist in the creation of engaging short-form content for a variety of hospitality brands. The role involves shooting, editing, and scheduling content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. You’ll work closely with the brand manager to maintain a consistent content calendar and ensure the brands’ social presence stays consistent, fresh and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shoot and edit short-form mobile video content (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).
• Collaborate with brand manager, the in-house creative team and in-venue restaurant teams to deliver innovative, on-brand content.
• Create and execute weekly content for assigned restaurant brands.
• Manage content schedules and plan posts using scheduling platforms like Later or Planned.
• Report directly to the brand manager for content updates and strategy adjustments.

Requirements:

• Experience in TikTok content creation and familiarity with Instagram/Facebook.
• Proficient in editing software like CapCut or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with content scheduling platforms like Later or Planned.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Creative copywriting skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating content for multiple brand channels at once.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on-site at restaurant locations.
• Hospitality experience is strongly preferred; previous operations/front of house work in restaurants & bars a nice bonus!
• Team player with great interpersonal skills and a passion for food/drink/hospitality/music & entertainment in Toronto will fit right in
