Role Summary:

The Social Media Specialist is a key role in our Marketing team, providing administrative and operational support to paid media and social campaigns, vendor management, and reporting. In this role, you will focus on ensuring seamless execution of campaigns and supporting day-to-day digital marketing operations.

What you will be doing:

Social Media:

  • Manage all social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. This includes planning, creating posts. and getting creative by converting blogs, educational resources, and other content into engaging social posts, reels, polls.
  • Write engaging, high-quality content that aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences across various platforms.
  • Manage and maintain social media content calendar including scheduling and publishing digital content on social platforms.
  • Optimize social platforms & tools for efficient campaign delivery and workflow improvement.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand messaging, tone, and regulatory standards within the investment and financial services industry.
  • Responsible for improving community management across all channels. This includes monitoring social media platforms, managing responses to reviews and promptly responding to comments and messages to answer questions and keep users engaged.
  • Work with the internal stakeholders to ensure timely posting of campaigns, product launches, events, special announcements, hiring, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices to enhance the company's online presence and strengthen its brand identity.
  • Monitor and measure performance metrics to identify trends, develop actionable insights for improvement, and compile data from social media platforms and Google Analytics for tracking and analysis.

Paid Media:

Support the Sr. Content Manager with delivering the CST digital media strategy, with a focus on:

  • Ensuring paid media campaigns align with the overall digital marketing strategy and KPIs.
  • Collaborating with external agencies to complete administrative tasks including completing trafficking sheets and updating spend trackers.
  • Supporting initiatives that drive traffic and qualified leads to the CST website through the day-to-day execution of paid media campaigns:
  • Compiling campaign results and identifying data discrepancies to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Ensuring campaign tags are applied and tracked accurately through Google Analytics and Marketing Cloud.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in content marketing, preferably in the investment technology or financial services sector
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with social media and monitoring tools (Meltwater, etc.) and content calendars (Hubspot, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • A strong understanding of paid search/SEM, display advertising, and paid social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and campaign coordination.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and deliver clear, accurate performance reports.
  • Experience working on cross-functional digital marketing campaigns
  • Ability to identify opportunities for areas of optimization.
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills to execute day-to-day administrative responsibilities efficiently.
  • Fully conversant with PC MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have, but not required:

  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Excel, and paid media tools. Google and Bing Ads Certified and Facebook Ads Certified is an asset.
  • Experience with digital media planning and buying techniques, including programmatic advertising, managing campaigns, and an understanding of bidding strategies, campaign optimization, and audience targeting on digital platforms.
