• Define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products. * Responsible for a wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. * Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process. * Technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
• Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
• Experience with C++
• Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience developing software for Linux systems.
• Experience with containers and containerized software (e.g., Docker)
• Exposure to model-based engineering and MBSE tools PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Understanding of industry standard software languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, and Bash
• Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build
• Experience with complicated technical communication such as file transport over a serial port
• Experience with Vehicle Software, Emission planning, and developing maintenance equipment
• Experience with Windows XP platform is a bonus * Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, bitbucket, bamboo etc..
• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral
• Experienced with data structures
• Experience working with the Data Distribution Service (DDS)
• Experience with C/C++ Build Systems (e.g., CMake)
