We're Hiring: Sr. Real Estate Law Clerk – Commercial

Location: Vaughan, ON

Type: Full-time | Permanent

Salary: $65,000 – $85,000/year

Our client in Vaughan, ON is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Real Estate Law Clerk to join their legal team. This role focuses on commercial and residential real estate transactions and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys working independently on complex files.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and residential purchase, sale, and financing transactions from start to finish, including preparing documentation and corresponding with clients and legal professionals.
• Conduct title sub-searches and off-title searches .
• Assist with land development matters , including registration of plans of subdivision .
• Support commercial leasing transactions as required.
• Prepare and register documents using Teraview (Transfers, Charges, Easements, Notices, Discharges, etc.).
• Draft and deliver reporting letters and client accounts .
• Open and maintain physical and digital files using PCLaw .
• Draft and revise legal correspondence and closing documentation.
• Prepare and organize closing packages for both residential and commercial transactions.
• Coordinate and manage lot sales and purchases through Conveyancer .
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What You Bring

• Diploma or certification in Legal Administration or Law Clerk Studies , or equivalent years of experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in a law firm, specifically handling commercial or residential real estate transactions.
• Proficient in PCLaw , Teraview , Conveyancer , and Microsoft Office Suite .
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to work independently and handle files from opening to closing with minimal supervision.
