DESCRIPTION
The Amazon Japan Paid Services Tech team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, Technical Program Manager to partner with local (Japan) and international business and technical team in developing and owning small to large-scale technical programs. The JP Paid Services Tech team is part of the greater Japan Store Tech, a global software development group.
As a Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) in the team, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of new exciting features that will benefit our internal and external users, and work with a highly talented team, shaping the direction of our technology stack and business strategy.
This role requires hands-on project management skills, deep technical expertise, and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, sending project updates, managing stakeholders communication and production launch. You will also be responsible for setting project management standards and expectations and delivering large, cross functional projects. 1. Business and systems requirements gathering

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
