The Staff Pad is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client’s team in a full-time, in-office role. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who brings strong expertise in billing, general ledger (GL), and payroll operations. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take ownership of core accounting functions, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including billing, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, audits, and financial reviews
• Maintain documentation for internal controls and assist with policy development
• Resolve discrepancies and provide support for external audits as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; 5 years preferred
• Strong experience with billing, GL, and payroll
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, in-office environment
