Job Description
The Archdiocese of Baltimore is seeking highly qualified candidates for a part-time Technology Teacher. The candidate would be responsible for all STEM curriculum instruction for grade level students. Knowledge of common core curriculum related to STEM would be beneficial. The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students is imperative.
Essential Functions - Provides a grade-appropriate instructional program for students that adheres to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
- Develop lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Course of Study in STEMstandards.
- Management and upkeep of the Makerspace materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with other subjects on creating and implementing projects in the Makerspace.
- Act as an advisor and be committed to playing an active role in growing our STEM Program.
Position Qualifications - Hold an MSDE teaching certification (STEM preferred)
- share a deep passion for technology, engineering, and problem-solving
- Experience with coding, robotics, 3D printers, and drones.
- BA/BS in education, science, technology, engineering, or another related field (advanced degree preferred but not required)
- Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals, and objectives.
- Must be proficient in using a variety of technology during daily lessons as well as to enrich and differentiate instruction.
