KWE IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR A TERMINAL MANAGER

KWE is currently looking for a Terminal Manager who is focused on delivering a world class customer service experience to our valued customers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for smooth transactions by using KWE’s vast worldwide network for a designated client base. REQUIREMENTS

• Formal Academic Training in related field or equivalent; four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent local market/industry knowledge.
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

DETAILS OF THE JOB

• Manage all terminal employees, monitor and approve their schedules of work, review tasks, ensure the accurate completion of performance reviews and provide employee feedback.
• Provide leadership to the terminal; prepare and present various business meetings and presentations to both customers and KWE staff as required.
• Generate new business and expand existing market area working alongside the sales team.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and on-going account maintenance/growth.
• Review and research market changes; develop and suggest new marketing strategies to increase awareness and promote corporate image.
• Supervise the effective maintenance of the companies ISO Policies.
• Conduct meetings for the terminal, complete minutes and update the training log and manual.
• Prepare and distribute various customized reports to Canadian Management.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets to meet terminal profit and loss goals.
• Supervise various special projects/duties as assigned.
• Participate and provide leadership in team efforts to achieve Companywide goals.
• Lead (by example) on various health and safety initiatives.
• Ensure Terminal compliance with regards to Provincial Health and Safety regulations.
• Report all unsafe activities to Human Resources and/or JHSC.
• Participate and provide leadership in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.
• Perform all other job- related duties as required by management.
