Job Description

Robert Half is seeking an Onboarding & Training Analyst to support a client in refining and improving their onboarding processes. This role will involve shadowing and working with department heads to understand their training needs, documenting existing workflows, and developing a standardized onboarding plan for all employees.

The ideal candidate will have a structured, patient, and nurturing approach to training, ensuring new hires—especially recent grads unfamiliar with Microsoft Suite—are equipped to succeed in their roles. This role is being offered as a 6-month contract, and will work on-site in Surrey and New Westminster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend onboarding sessions to observe current processes.
  • Work closely with department heads to document and improve training materials.
  • Identify gaps in onboarding documentation and workflows.
  • Meet with new hires to assess their understanding and experience with internal systems.
  • Develop a standardized training plan covering Microsoft Suite, internal tools, email management, and best practices .
  • Improve existing onboarding materials, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Create training videos as needed.
  • Organize training resources within the clients ethernet.
  • Potentially assist in setting up and managing an LMS.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in corporate training, onboarding, or instructional design .
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel), Adobe (PDF documentation), CRM's (Hubspot) and VOIP systems (RingCentral).
  • Ability to navigate and document processes involving servers and remote applications .
  • Experience onboarding and training entry-level and senior staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

VISA / RELOCATION SUPPORT:

  • Preference will be given to candidates who are currently in the Greater Vancouver Regional District with proper working permission to work in Canada.
  • No relocation assistance or visa sponsorship support will be offered for this role.
