The Role

• As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be at the forefront of creating groundbreaking connected driving experiences. You will integrate state-of-the-art vehicle hardware with smartphone technology, developing solutions that make driving smarter, safer and more connected.

• Architect and implement Android-native solutions for optimal user experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create unified product experiences
• Develop and validate prototypes for groundbreaking concepts
• Craft high-performance, maintainable code with a test-driven approach
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex user-reported issues
• Explore emerging technologies to enhance our product offerings

Your Skills

• Solid hands-on Android development experience, preferably in a product-based company
• Expertise in Kotlin and Java for Android development
• Proficiency with Android frameworks and Jetpack libraries
• Experience in integrating hardware components with mobile applications
• Business-level Japanese OR Business-level English communication skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong sense of ownership
• You need to be in Japan and must have authorization to work in Japan

• Experience with Bluetooth integration on Android
• Knowledge of IoT or embedded systems
• Expertise in app localization and internationalization
• Conversational-level Japanese
