Job Description

About Unisystech Consulting:

At Unisystech Consulting, we specialize in IT solutions and staffing for the financial services industry. We are committed to providing our clients with top-tier talent and innovative solutions that drive business success.

About the Role

We are looking for a UX Researcher on behalf of our client, a financial services organization undergoing a digital transformation. This role calls for a pragmatic, fast-paced approach to research—prioritizing speed, clarity, and relevance over lengthy cycles. You’ll be expected to conduct focused, rapid studies and deliver actionable insights that drive immediate design improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and leadership to understand research needs and timelines
  • Plan and recommend the most efficient user-centered research approaches (qualitative & quantitative)
  • Recruit and schedule suitable participants for research studies
  • Independently conduct interviews, surveys, usability tests, and analyze web analytics
  • Synthesize research data to identify insights and make clear, actionable recommendations
  • Present findings and socialize insights across teams to influence product and strategic decisions
  • Define a research roadmap aligned with the product vision and business priorities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience conducting UX research, ideally for customer-facing (B2C) products
  • Proficiency in various research methods and tools (e.g., interviews, usability testing, usertesting.com, userinterviews.com, Condens)
  • Experience delivering high-quality artifacts such as reports, insights, and journey maps
  • Skilled in conducting semi-structured 1:1 interviews with diverse user groups
  • Comfortable running remote research sessions and workshops
  • Ability to manage fast-paced timelines and shift quickly from planning to execution
  • Collaborative, low-ego, and self-motivated team player

90% Remote: On-site attendance required once a month at the client’s Mississauga office

Contract Duration: 6 months

Potential for Extension: Yes

Join Us: If you're eager to make a meaningful impact in the financial services sector and bring the right experience to the table, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity through Unisystech Consulting.
