The Events Planner II plays a vital role in supporting the National Guard's Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) at the Wing, State, or Region level. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing YRRP training events, ensuring Service Members and their families have access to the program's resources and information throughout the deployment cycle. As a federal contractor, CNI is a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Experience in program coordination, event planning, and logistics management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with government online systems (e.g., YRCS, DTS, AROWS). Understanding of military culture and deployment cycles a plus. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Independently plans and executes YRRP events for the Wing, State, or Region. Coordinates with Wing leadership, speakers, and community partners to develop event agendas and secure resources. Creates and submits funding requests, travel authorizations, and special training orders (if required) for events. Analyzes data from YRCS and other tracking tools to identify trends and program effectiveness. Drafts event After Action Reviews (AARs) and submits them in designated formats. Provides guidance and support to Airmen, families, and unit deployment managers regarding YRRP. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Event Management) preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers, printers, and light traffic.
