Hobson Prior is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse operations and ensure the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of products while adhering to company policies and legal standards. This role requires effective communication in business English and involves reporting to the manager in Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support warehouse staff.
• Ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Follow stock control processes.
• Conduct regular inventory checks.
• Manage stock with expiration dates carefully.
• Handle all system transactions accurately.
• Keep materials organized and undamaged.
• Enforce warehouse policies.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space.
• Communicate with team members about shipments.
• Oversee inventory disposal processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
• Inspect goods and coordinate repairs if needed.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• College degree.
• Training in Warehousing or Logistics.
• Experience in warehouse management.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Japan's Dangerous Goods Code.
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures.
• Understanding of health and safety in warehouses.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems is a plus.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Business-level English proficiency.
