TuxMat is the leader in premium vehicle floor protection, providing custom-fit all-weather mats with an emphasis on quality, innovation, and style. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Warehouse Team Lead to help us elevate our distribution center's performance and drive operational excellence.

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Team Lead will oversee the daily operations of our distribution center, ensuring inventory is managed accurately and orders are fulfilled efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a blend of leadership capabilities, hands-on experience in warehouse operations, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations with a hands-on approach, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, cost efficiencies, and productivity improvements within the warehouse.
• Operate RF scanners to complete essential tasks such as inventory tracking, cycle counts, and order processing.
• Lead, coach, and contribute to the development and training of warehouse personnel to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Plan, prioritize, and delegate daily workload to meet operational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and organizational policies.
• Act as a problem-solver, addressing operational issues and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Hand-on approach
• Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback to enhance team efficiency and morale.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity (preferred).
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and motivating employees.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• A strategic thinker with excellent planning and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and professional conduct.
• High attention to detail with the ability to follow through on tasks and meet deadlines.
• Forklift certification (preferred)
