Job Description

Our client are seeking a Workday Team SME to enhance our existing Workday HCM modules and simplify the end-user experience. This role uses deep Workday expertise to optimize system performance, deliver user-centric solutions, and support business leaders in driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of new Workday functional areas, ensuring testing and impact analysis on existing configurations
• Manage medium to advanced Workday configuration changes to improve performance and streamline processes
• Act as lead for various Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Time-Tracking, Learning, Absence, Reporting, Talent, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Scheduling, Workday Help, Security, and Benefits
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance
• Test, audit, and analyze bi-annual Workday feature releases
• Translate stakeholder requests into clear, actionable system requirements
• Create and execute comprehensive test scenarios for releases and change requests
• Maintain and update user guides and deliver training sessions
• Stay current on new Workday features and community updates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Technology, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing Workday change requests across multiple modules
• Experience implementing Workday Talent, Advanced Compensation, and Workday Help
• Solid understanding of HR environments, processes, and policies
• Strong system thinking, testing, and impact analysis skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
