Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Workplace Consultant, your mission is to win deals by advising clients on custom furniture solutions. You'll understand client needs, present solutions, and manage relationships to ensure RFP wins. This role demands strong interpersonal, consultative, sales, and organizational skills, with a focus on exceptional service and meeting revenue targets. This role reports to our Director of Product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop furniture proposals that align with clients' budgets, timelines, and aesthetic requirements.
  • Prepare detailed quotes, ensuring proper margins and accurate delivery and installation costs.
  • Collaborate with brand partners to tailor furniture solutions.
  • Coordinate with planners and designers to update backgrounds on furniture installation plans.
  • Review and validate manufacturer drawings, renderings, and quotes, coordinating necessary revisions.
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure a seamless handover for purchasing and execution.
  • Provide expert guidance on workplace trends, furniture solutions, and ergonomic considerations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product lines.
  • Provide feedback to the product team about gaps in offerings or emerging client demands.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years in a consultative sales role, preferably in furniture, design, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Familiarity with workplace furniture systems

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse client profiles.
  • Consultative selling and problem-solving mindset.
  • Project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications
