Summary

Faith Baptist Church Oakville is looking for an individual who is interested in pursuing ministry. This person should be a passionate believer, willing to learn, enjoys working with youth, and desires to see them grow in their relationship with Christ.

Job Overview

The Youth Intern will contribute to the spiritual growth of youth in grades 6-12 by supporting existing programs and initiatives. Under the supervision of the elders, the youth intern will also participate with other ministry projects and be guided by a mentorship program to foster personal and professional development.

Job Requirements:

• Work with the Elder of Ministry of Care to create and implement youth curriculum, lead Bible studies, and maintain communication with parents.
• Build relationships with youth to encourage their spiritual and personal growth.
• Collaborate with other ministries to engage youth in broader church initiatives while operating under supervision and leadership.
• Meet regularly with the ministry lead for professional guidance.
• Complete assigned readings to support professional and theological development.

Additional Requirements:

• Police background check
• Theologically aligned with Faith Baptist Church and willing to sign and affirm its Statement of Faith.
