Consumer Technology is responsible for NIQ - GfK's core business of market data services to major consumer electronics manufacturers in Japan. In addition to strengthening its existing business, NIQ - GfK is taking measures for future growth. In particular, we are expected to provide consulting services based on a multifaceted approach to help our clients resolve business issues quickly and support their business decisions. In order to gain further trust as a business partner of our clients, we have decided to strengthen our services utilizing consumer research and POS data so that our clients can execute advertising promotions more effectively and efficiently. We are looking for someone to join our team.

Responsibilities 

  • Act as a strategic partner to clients to help them succeed in their business
  • Understand clients' business issues and solve them by using NIQ/GfK solutions (Consumer research, POS data, etc.)
  • Collaboration with sales members to drive for sales growth for year-end budget achievement
  • Analyse markets by using databases and become an expert in the industry

主な業務内容

      1.  
  • クライアントの戦略的パートナーとして、クライアントのビジネス成功を支援する
  • クライアント課題をヒアリングし、消費者調査やPOSデータを用いて解決へ繋げる
  • 営業メンバーと連携をとりながら、売上げ達成に向けて活動を行う
  • データベースを用いて市場分析を行い、業界のエキスパートとなる

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree graduate, business management, business analytics, marketing or any related programs. 
  • Experience in sales in a B2B business or in marketing and sales promotion
  • Skills to build hypotheses from discussions with stakeholders, define solutions and make proposals
  • Willingness to try new things and ability to absorb new knowledge and skills
  • Ability to never give up, explore all possibilities, and deliver results even in difficult situations
  • Data analysis skills using Excel
  • Presentation skills using PowerPoint with the ability to communicate logically
  • English language skills (TOEIC score of 700 or above is a good guide)

Preferred skills and experience

  • Experience in launching a new business, service, or product at a business company, or experience providing support in the same area at a consulting firm.
  • Knowledge of or strong interest in consumer electronics products and their market trends
