Job Description

Role: Bilingual Administrative Assistant

Contract: 3 months with possible extension

Location: Ottawa (Hybrid 2 days/week onsite)

Requirements:

• Superior communications skills, both oral and written, are required in English.
• High degree of proficiency in working in a fast-paced team environment
• Requires experience in scheduling meetings with elected and unelected officials
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe, is essential
• Requires a high level of discretion and sound judgment in making decisions that may significantly impact the credibility of the CMA and the image of the profession.
• Requires a high degree of resourcefulness, detail-oriented skills, self-motivation, and self-direction as well as the judgement necessary to understand when to seek direction and the ability to both multi-task and prioritize.
• Evening, weekend, and some travel to meetings, conferences, and workshops may be required
