Job Description

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is seeking a CAD/CAM Designer in Largo, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and proficiency in CAM programming. Experience with Alpha CAM is considered a valuable asset.

Responsibilities:

Complete CAD drawings and programs for CNC systems
Collaborate with CNC operators to optimize CNC operations
Track and order CNC bits
Ensure CNC operations have the most efficient tools and programs
Work with CNC operators to maintain bit sharpness
Perform daily machine maintenance
Ensure CNC systems produce according to CAD programs
Train CNC operators
Troubleshoot errors from CNC machines
Make drawings/prints for use on the shop floor
Create basic work instructions for CNC operators
Generate programs for twin-spindle twin-table CNC routers
Manage tooling and inventory
Basic to mid-level understanding of G and M codes
Basic understanding of work coordinates and work offsets
Develop, test, and improve workflows on both the office side and on the shop floor

Qualifications:

High school or equivalent (Required)
3 years of experience in CAD/CAM (Required)
Prior CNC operators encouraged to apply
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Able to work accurately under pressure
Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with other departments
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
