We give our Content Creator a lot of autonomy, with support from ‘above’ and ‘below’. You’ve been working at other agencies and likely have a pretty good idea of what this job is all about. Those parts are the same, it’s how we treat you that’s a little different. In the same way that you shou ld hav e expectations of the agency, its only fair that the agency has expectations of you. A bit about the job.

The Content Creator will be responsible for producing, editing, and enhancing video content for various social media platforms. Reporting into the Social Media Manager and working closely with our Content Manager, you will develop engaging visual content that aligns with client campaigns and brand strategies.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Video Content Production: Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality, social-first video content tailored to platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit and optimize video content for engagement, ensuring strong storytelling, pacing, visuals, and sound quality.
  • Social-First Ideation: Work closely with the rest of the social team to develop creative, trend-driven video concepts that align with brand goals and audience engagement strategies.
  • Motion Graphics & Effects: Create dynamic motion graphics and animations to enhance video storytelling (Adobe After Effects or similar tools).
  • Trendspotting & Cultural Awareness: Stay ahead of emerging trends, memes, and platform updates to quickly capitalize on creative opportunities.
  • Pre-Production & Storyboarding: Develop shot lists, storyboards, and pre-production plans to ensure smooth and effective content creation.
  • On-Set Direction: Confidently direct on-camera talent and manage small-scale production setups, including lighting, sound, and shooting with both professional cameras and mobile devices.
  • Platform Optimization: Ensure all video content is properly formatted for platform specifications and best practices.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work with internal teams and external partners (videographers, editors, designers) to maintain brand consistency and high production quality.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Film, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3-4 years of proven experience with video production, editing, and motion graphics, particularly for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) - creating video content from concept to final delivery.
  • Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut etc.).
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and how to optimize content for various platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Critical thinking and ability to problem-solve
