Role Overview

MetaCrust is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst for a 5-month contract. This role will support our Multi-Directional End-to-End Security architecture and contribute to the development of secure communication protocols for wearable medical and IOT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing embedded device security architectures.
• Contribute to the design and documentation of device-specific secure communication protocols.
• Support threat modeling, protocol analysis, and risk assessments for medical & IoT devices.
• Collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to align security implementations with privacy, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing improvements of MetaCrust’s operational security infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree (completed) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity operations, cryptographic principles, or secure communication.
• Interest or experience in embedded systems, IoT, or medical device security is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, firmware analysis tools, or threat modeling platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning in a dynamic startup environment.
