We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Chiba, Japan. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers. This position requires a professional attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to navigate Chiba's roads safely and efficiently.

• Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages and products
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
• Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Deliver packages to customers' homes and businesses in a timely manner
• Verify deliveries and obtain necessary signatures from recipients
• Handle cash transactions and process payments when required
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to management
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred
• Excellent knowledge of Chiba's roads and traffic patterns
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Fluency in Japanese and basic English language skills
• Physical stamina to withstand long hours of driving and frequent stops
