The Job

Our client, a leading technology-driven organization, is seeking a Director or Engineering to play a pivotal role in structuring the post-M&A framework and strengthening projects with complex business challenges. This position requires a strategic approach to both technical and organizational development, ensuring high-quality output and significant business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and management guidance to Engineering Managers and Team Leads across multiple teams.
• Lead post-M&A integration, optimizing product and organizational development through technical strategy, recruitment, role design, and budget planning.
• Oversee multi-organizational teams, driving execution of large-scale development projects across multiple locations, including international offices.
• Develop and implement systems that promote equal ownership and collaboration across global engineering teams.
• Establish and track quantitative objectives using OKR/MBO frameworks to measure success.
• Improve transparency and operational efficiency by fostering a documentation-first approach to reduce reliance on individual contributors.

• You are a seasoned Director of Engineering with a strong background in structuring post-M&A frameworks and driving high-impact projects that tackle critical business challenges from both technical and organizational perspectives.
• You possess deep expertise in product and organizational development, providing technical guidance, recruitment strategies, role and authority design, and budget planning to ensure high-quality development output and business success.
• You provide technical and management leadership to Engineering Managers and Team Leads across multiple teams.
• You lead post-M&A integration, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency across global teams.
• You develop and implement systems that foster equal ownership and collaboration within international engineering teams.
• You oversee multi-organizational projects, managing teams ranging from a few members to large-scale operations over six months to a year.
• You establish and track quantitative objectives using OKR/MBO frameworks to drive business impact.
• You enhance transparency and operational efficiency by prioritizing structured documentation to minimize reliance on individual contributors.
