JOB DESCRIPTION

At Open House Media, we work with eCommerce brands, SaaS companies, and influencers from around the world, helping to grow their business with email marketing.

As an Email Copywriter, you will be working closely with an incredible team as the point person for writing the copy for our clients, covering a group of 10-15 of our clients.

The main responsibilities of an Email Copywriter include digesting brand information to capture the brand voice and style, to then craft copy for the client’s email flows and campaigns.

You will be working closely with an incredibly talented team of marketers, designers, and account managers to ensure accounts are properly cared for.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clients will update you with information on their brand (so you can effectively capture the brand voice) as well as their future marketing plans
• You’ll manage the process of building out unique flows/automations for new clients
• You'll write monthly email campaigns for ongoing clients (no need to create calendars for clients)
• You'll communicate with team members for approvals and work instructions
• You'll be vocal with your department head on your bandwidth, insight, thoughts, opinions, dreams, and more because you want to grow in your role, reach your optimal potential, and comfortably (frazzle-free!) bring only your best to the table
• You'll be responsive via Slack for team collaboration and communication to crush the day-to-day!
• You'll show up ready to take on each day with effective time management

REQUIREMENTS

• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Email Copywriting position
• You will have preferably worked with eCommerce brands before
• Prior experience working at an e-commerce email agency is a plus
• This role will require a heavy amount of imaginative copy creation, so loving what you do is a must!
• You have experience working in Google Sheets, Figma, and Notion
• You have next-level organizational skills, communication skills, and leadership skills to juggle multiple projects and work across time zones!
