Company Profile

• Our client is a global real estate investment firm with strong operations in the APAC region.

The Role

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and investor reports for real estate funds and investment vehicles.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Track and account for capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
• Maintain and reconcile capital accounts and waterfall models in accordance with partnership agreements.
• Coordinate with external fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Support NAV calculations and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, J-GAAP as applicable).
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for fund-level and asset-level performance.
• Monitor investment transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and financing activities, and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies and support SOX or regulatory audit requirements where applicable.
• Support internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responses to auditor queries.
• Contribute to system enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives within the fund accounting function.

Your Skills

• Prior experience in Fund Accounting
• Proficient in both Japanese & English
