Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

The role involves utilizing production equipment to fabricate doors and working efficiently on an assembly line. Candidates should be prepared to stand for up to 8-10 hours per day and work flexible hours as required. The position also requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate small and large machines in the production of doors.
• Work on the door assembly line to build doors.
• Inspect all products for quality assurance.
• Perform machining tasks for hardware installation on doors.
• Prepare and handle materials efficiently.
• Stage and package finished products for delivery.
• Carry out other general warehouse duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and adhere to prescribed safety rules.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, assembly, and manufacturing.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of general production processes.
• Competency in machine operation.
• Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.).
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• General knowledge of building materials.
• Ability to perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced manufacturing setting where employees will utilize various technologies and equipment. Workers are expected to adhere to a safety-conscious dress code and maintain cleanliness and order in their work areas. Shifts may vary, offering flexibility in working hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stayton, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.93 - $21.93/hr.
