In December 2023, Plum was acquired by Simon Group Holdings (SGH), a U.S.-based family office founded in 1985 by Sam Simon. SGH’s diverse portfolio spans energy solutions, logistics, transportation, technology incubation, fuel supply, real estate, aerospace and defense, oil field services, private equity, and insurance. Backed by SGH’s expertise and resources, Plum is well-positioned for expansion and continued innovation in the energy sector.
As the company scales, Plum is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead its growing field operations, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and safety across its projects. We are searching for someone who has gas experience, a Bachelor's degree and the ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level (boots on the ground).
THE OPPORTUNITY
LHH Knightsbridge has been engaged to recruit an accomplished Head of Operations, reporting to the COO of Simon Group Holdings. The Head of Operations will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in field operations and equipment maintenance. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in managing day-to-day activities, overseeing field technicians, and ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.
The successful candidate will have direct experience in managing operations teams, repair and maintenance operations, safety programs, and exposure to manufacturing / fabrication operations. They must understand P&L management and be comfortable driving operational efficiencies at a tactical level. The Head of Operations will play a key role in ensuring seamless service execution while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. This leader should be capable of stepping in to provide field services when needed.
