Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Insurance Services Summer Student

STATUS: 4-month contract

The Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada (HIROC)is a trusted healthcare safety advisor, committed to offering a full spectrum of insurance, risk and claims management products and support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with a variety of tasks in HIROC’s database and CRM systems
  • Validate/compare data in various excel spreadsheet
  • File electronic and physical documentation in appropriate files for department
  • Scan, verify and upload of documents into databases
  • Review documents for scanning errors
  • Maintaining security of confidential information by following data security processes
  • Under the direction of the team, shred confidential materials after they have been scanned
  • Support other department members as required
  • Other tasks as required

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education or 2 years of related work experience, preferably in an office setting
  • MS Office suite proficient

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Hybrid work model
