The Role

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the planning and execution of individual audit cases.
* Conduct audit procedures in compliance with audit standards and quality control standards.
* Prepare audit findings and support regular risk assessment work.
* Assist in developing the annual audit plan and follow-up on audit actions.
* Perform internal quality control reviews and analyze audit findings.
* Support audit data analysis and activities of the Board of Corporate Auditors.

Key Working Relationships:
* Collaborate with managers and staff in the audited department, Group Audit managers, data scientists, and Audit & Supervisory Board Members.
* Interact with external auditors and consultants.

Personality / Traits:
* Flexible, curious, and outgoing personality.
* Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
* Reliable and quick learner.

Your Skills

Required Qualifications:
* Experience / Skills Requirements:
* Fluent in Japanese and business-level English.
* Audit-related qualifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) but not a must.

Preferred Background and Experience:
* Experience in the life insurance industry.
* Auditing experience at external audit firms or internal audit at a foreign-affiliated company.
* Experience in risk management, compliance, or data analysis/statistics (preferably in the actuarial field).
