SUMMARY:

ESR is looking to fill a Junior Analyst / Analyst role on the Japan Fund Management team based in Tokyo, Japan. The position’s primary focus is to support the Investments team with performing various financial analysis and fund management tasks related to the firm’s logistics projects at ESR.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist fundraising efforts for acquisitions and development opportunities including the creation and review of investment memorandums, building Excel financial models, and investor requests.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly asset/fund level & investor reports
• Market data collection and maintenance of the internal market database
• Support and coordinate transaction closings between Investments, Asset Management, Fund Management, Finance, and Transaction teams (including offshore offices).
• Support construction, environmental, legal, and tax due diligence.
• Support business development activities of senior management including ad hoc analysis and presentations.

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Multiple years of experience, preferably in real estate investment.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

PERSONAL SKILLS:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables

LANGUAGES:

• Native level Japanese and Business level English preferred
