We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Language Specialist to join our team, with a focus on the Korean language. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing language assets’ logic and coherence, grammar and punctuation, spelling, consistency, style, language usage, and formatting, improving customer streaming experience with Amazon language solutions and process-centered approaches. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, proofreading and editing risk reports, engineering correspondence, and a variety of other written and electronic communications.

Key job responsibilities
• Review and refine Korean-to-Korean transcriptions, marks and adjusts timing points of the dialogues, and applies appropriate speaker identification throughout the content."
• Identifying cultural references and idioms, highlighting gestures or behaviors that may need adaptation, and tracking honorific levels and relationship dynamics specific to Korean language and culture.
• Support quality control for accuracy, verifying timing alignment and character name consistency, ensuring proper script formatting, and flagging technical issues that require review.
• Assist in the development and implementation of language-related technology/products to ensure consistency and quality of Korean language services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand language requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in the field of language services, particularly related to the streaming and entertainment industry.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of language processes and workflows to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's Korean language capabilities.
• Provide guidance and training to other team members on Korean language-related matters, sharing your expertise and knowledge.

• 正確性の品質管理をサポートし、タイミングの整合性やキャラクター名の一貫性を確認し、適切なスクリプトフォーマットを確保し、確認が必要な技術的な問題を指摘します。
• クロスファンクショナルチームと協力して言語要件を理解し、ニーズに合わせたソリューションを提供します。
• 特にストリーミングおよびエンターテインメント業界に関連する言語サービス分野での最新の業界動向、ベストプラクティス、技術革新について常に最新情報を把握します。
• 組織の韓国語機能の効率性と効果を高めるため、言語プロセスとワークフローの継続的な改善に貢献します。
• 他のチームメンバーに韓国語関連事項について指導とトレーニングを提供し、専門知識を共有します。
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- • Translation experience in a wide array of format, including documents, timed texts, and metadata, while preserving the original meaning, style, and tone.
- • Advanced proficiency in Korean(native speaker level), with a deep understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural sensitivities.
- • Effective Collaboration with project managers, auditors, and subject matter experts to clarify context and resolve queries,
- • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance.
- • Microsoft Officeおよびアプリケーションの使用経験
