Position Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Edmonton, AB

Type: Permanent, full-time, onsite

This Maintenance Supervisor role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The position involves planning and overseeing machine and equipment maintenance schedules to ensure operational efficiency. The supervisor is also responsible for promoting safety, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement in line with organizational goals.

What You'll Do

• Plan and implement repair and maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with Plant Supervisors to ensure facilities operate efficiently.
• Evaluate and recommend machinery replacements or repairs.
• Supervise and allocate tasks to millwrights based on operational needs.
• Order machine parts and specialty tools as required.
• Train and motivate employees on inspection operations and quality standards.
• Promote safety practices and resources, including PPE and accident investigations.
• Ensure department KPIs are met and identify improvements when necessary.
• Verify employee time records for payroll purposes.
• Conduct toolbox meetings to address safety agendas.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience in a machine shop setting.
• Journeyman machinist or millwright status.
• Crane and forklift certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Dynamics AX software.
• Knowledge of oil and gas industry products and services.
• Strong understanding of safe work practices and quality assurance standards.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a machine shop environment wearing PPE.
