Union & Trade Coordination

  • Communicate and coordinate with union labor and trade partners, particularly in NYC and NJ
  • Ensure labor activities comply with union agreements and jobsite regulations

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Build positive working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Provide consistent updates to the project team, anticipating and mitigating potential issues.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Recent college graduate (construction management or related studies preferred) OR
  • Equivalent industry experience as a Journeyman electrician, HVAC technician, installer, or other commercial MEP trade experience

Technical Knowledge

  • Practical understanding of lighting, HVAC, and plumbing systems installation, including hands-on experience in commercial projects
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting construction documents (blueprints, specs, shop drawings)

Software Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Exposure to project management software (Procore, MS Project, Smartsheet, Oodo) is a plus.

Additional Requirements
