Job Description

As a key member of our Logistics Team, the Packaging and Shipping Coordinator is responsible for efficiently packaging orders at our facility and ensuring the most cost-effective and reliable transportation solutions. This role plays a crucial part in meeting deadlines while maintaining the safety of goods and personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and packaging shipments through various carriers, ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and representatives for air, ocean, import, and export logistics to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Ensure supply chain contracts are detailed, accurate, and aligned with company standards.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm pick-up details and ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Track and trace shipments, investigate and resolve billing or shipping discrepancies, and provide timely and accurate updates to customers and suppliers.
• Clearly communicate logistics processes and guidelines within the company.
• Identify and address packaging requirements, ensuring proper materials, special designs, and compliance with international regulations based on the nature of the product.
• Support team performance by assisting colleagues and covering responsibilities during vacations or absences.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in warehousing, packaging, or a similar logistics role.
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail oriented.
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer service mindset.
• Ability to contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual in French and English.
